SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System) is based in Scandinavia and operates flights from its main hubs located in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo. It is the flag carrier of the Scandinavian countries. SAS was established in 1946 and today operates domestic and international flights within Europe and it also flies to various destinations in Asia, Africa and North America.

SAS is a member of the largest airline alliance Star Alliance and it runs its own frequent flyer program named EuroBonus. SAS won numerous awards including Airline of the year as well as Best International Bonus Promotion. SAS is also named as the most punctual airline in Europe.

SAS offer online check-in on its website as well as checked baggage allowance. Its fleet consisted of 137 planes in 2011.
