Pacific Blue Airlines was based in New Zealand and operated flights from its main hubs located in Auckland, Brisbane and Christchurch. It was a low-cost airline which operated flights to various destinations in New Zealand, Australia and South Asia. The airline co-operated with Australian airline Virgin Australia which is the owner of Pacific Blue. It was absorbed into Virgin Australia in December 2011.
Its passengers could take advantage of the frequent-flyer program Velocity Rewards. The airline offered online check-in on its website. Its fleet consisted of 10 aircraft in 2011.
