Malaysia Airlines is the flag carrier airline of Malaysia and its main hubs are located in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu. It operates short, medium, long-haul and also transatlantic flights to many destinations all over the world. The airline was established in 1937 but it started operations 10 years later.

Malaysia Airlines is considered to be one of the best airlines in the world according to Skytrax - British research company that annually awards the title "Airline of the Year". The airline offers two frequent flyer programs - Enrich and Grads. Its subsidiaries are FireFly, MASwings and MASkargo. The fleet of Malaysia Airlines consisted of 84 aircraft in 2010.
