Hawaiian Airlines is the 11th largest commercial airline in the United States and the largest airline based in the State of Hawaii. Hawaiian Airlines operates the main hub at Honolulu International Airport in Honolulu, Hawaii but also flies from a secondary hub at Kahului Airport on the island of Maui. It specializes in air transportation among the Hawaiian Islands and bringing visitors to Hawaii from points in the Western U.S. and the South Pacific.

Hawaiian Airlines was founded in 1929 and is now owned by Hawaiian Holdings. The fleet of Hawaiian Airlines consisted of 33 aircraft in 2009. The airline has a special frequent flyer program called HawaiianMiles which offers many benefits to regular passengers.
