Flyglobespan was a Scottish low cost airline based in Edinburgh with other hubs located at the airports in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Durham Tees Valley. Flyglobespan started operations in 2002 and it provided flights not only to various European destinations, but also to Canada, USA and North Africa.
The airline offered two service classes on its long-haul flights - Premium Economy and Business, complimentary refreshment was served in both of them. Flyglobespan's fleet consisted of 15 Boeings in 2008. In November 2007 Flyglobespan won the Best Holiday Airline at the SPAA awards. The airline went bankrupt in December 2009.
